The Emergency Response Coordination platform is an initiative supported by UNDP and led by ODPEM along with a technical support team composed of the Planning Institute of Jamaica and line ministries.
This platform runs through a process of requests being made by various departments of ministries in specific emergencies. After the approval of these requests, they are visible to organisations or individuals for pledges.
Pledges are made against specific items covering an array of areas of support across various localities affected in Jamaica. Once a pledge is made, it goes through a process of review by appointed line ministries.
Reports and a data dashboard are available to monitor the status of requests and pledges and the contributions done across areas of support.
